Abstract::Abstract:Marginalized women of Bengal are hardly discussed in pages of history, either history of
colonialism or any social history. The majority of historiographical writings on Dalits women of Bengal
are written by affluent and those who are non-Dalits on non-marginalized. The paper explores the
uncovered, undiscovered stories of Dalit women of Bengal who struggled and fought against the
oppression of colonialism, caste, and patriarchy. Marginalized women of Bengal have been writing large
numbers of essay and autobiography. They have been written through the Neer. It is a Dalit Women’s
little magazine. This magazine has been publishing a large number of essays, autobiography and poetry
of marginalized women of Bengal. Through this writing, they have expressed social injustice,
discrimination, oppression as well as their social, religious and political identity. This paper focus on the
contribution of Neer Magazine for disseminating Dalit Women’s voice.
